Death Note
Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects- and he's bored out of his mind. But all that changes when he finds the Death note, a notebook dropped by a rogue god of death. Any human whose name is written in the Death Note dies, and now Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. But when criminals begin dropping dead, the authorities send in the legendary detective L to track down the killer, who is commonly known as Kira. Light's good, but is he good enough to stop the cops while trying to create his new world, where Kira is the law?

Monster Hunter (PSP)
Monster Hunter is wlan-capable, section roaming rpg. It is an rpg in the sense that you upgrade, costumize, buy and sell, gather items and explore to the effect of a traditional rpg. However, "levelling up" your character is not a part of this game's formula, as all of your character's stat growths are attributed to what weapon and armor set you are currently wearing. There is not nessecarily a main plot, other than the fact that you are slaying giant wyverns to protect your town from destruction.
The combat system is free-roam, meaning that you are not restricted to select you attack in traditional rpg style (ex. Final Fantasy). There are many weapons types that you can choose from to slay the wyverns. They are the sword and shield, the dual swords, the lance and shield, the gunlance and shield, the great sword, the long katana, the hammer, the hunting horn, the light bowgun, the heavy bowgun, and the large bow and arrows. There are different attack combos and strategies for each weapon type. Also, weapons can be attributed with fire, water, ice, thunder, dragon, poison, paralysis, and sleep. Weapons and armor are made from the body parts of defeated wyverns. Incedentally, the stronger the wyvern, the better its parts.
